So I just watched it the other night and I was looking forward to the tree rape scene. It was pretty meh, could definitely have been better. However, I did like the pseudo lesbian rape scene where the possessed chick starts to lick and kiss her way up the blonde's legs and slip. If only they went all out and let her suck on the blonde's pussy and tits.

They basically ripped off the original movie and relied on CG effects to make it better. But IMHO the original was more scary. CG effects don't always mean a better remake.

It was the Raimi brothers who did both the original and the remake, and the original was made on a very low budget so i think they saw it as their chance to make things happen that they couldn't before.

though there were scenes i missed from the original, like when they're guessing cards or even the scene where the porch swing was hitting against the wall
