A soldier was attacked in South London yesterday afternoon in an apparently religious motivated attack. He was stabbed and hacked up, newspapers are saying he was beheaded. The two attackers filmed themselves doing it, witnesses are suggesting they were shouting "Allah Akbar" and other such nonsense as they did if. They also apparently threatened witnesses with guns when they tried to stop the attack.

They then reportedly waited for the police, who shot them both. They're in hospital.

I think the UK today has gone far beyond anything Enoch Powell envisioned. When Pakistani men are put on trial here for sex slavery charges, their stooges have the nerve to riot in protest. Besides knives and a meat cleaver, I also read that a handgun was found at the scene. unfortunately for Brits, they do not have the right to bear arms and defend themselves. One or two armed citizens in this sad situation could have made all the difference.

This sit affected me more than I thought, based upon all the other deaths I've heard about. I just keep thinking what a horrible way to die and if the guy had a wife and kids.


Shooting deaths seem less barbaric and painful in some way, they most prolly dismembered him before cutting off his head. Imagine the ordinary ppl who saw it all.

Despite the law, guns are readily available here. I'm a bit out of the loop but I could get myself one if I needed one. These men had a gun. I don't think they wanted to cause as much death as possible, it seems they deliberately targeted a soldier and carried out what they saw as a ritualistic Talib style slaying. The fact that only one person died is entirely due to them only wanting one person to die.

Apparently three arrests were made on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. Two suspects released without charge, one still being held.

In a totally unrelated incident, a Pakistani Airlines flight on route to Manchester from Lahore today, had to be diverted to Stansted and escorted by Typhoon jet fighters. Two men arrested on arrival for "endangering an aircraft flight".
