honestly, as an irish man i really dont care its only football, but what i find worse was the national paper has the title 'The Hand Of Frog' which i find kinda racist.. which make ireland seem like a real bunch of sore losers with a hint of racism, this kinda thing happens all the time in every league around the world.. but sure video replays/video referees should be brought in for big games, like i said its only football and to me its only a game therell be more in the future.

Rugby, soccer or association football, American football, Australian football and Canadian football are all technically football because they are played on foot. It's an old generic term for a wide variety of games.

For benefit of the Americans, only the bloke with '1' on his shirt is supposed to touch the ball with his hands. Check out the number 17 player as the ball is played in to the goal area in the second clip.

The latest is that FIFA have ruled out any possibility of replaying the match. Meanwhile Thierry Henri has admitted that he cheated and apologised. Just a pity he wasn't man enough to hold his hands up (no pun intended) to the mistake there and then.

Personally I think he should be excluded from the competition next year. It'd be wrong to penalise the entire French team, unless of course it transpired that they were told to cheat. But Henri shouldn't go unpunished.

Looks like FIFA are going to appoint 5 officials to each match in South Africa. Why's that? So that the cheating Fr, erm, I mean Thierry Henri can feel 66% more ignored next time he fouls the ball?
