What happened to RC - Rape Board

Not that i go in there much but i clicked on the link in my favorites by accident as its next to my RB link and got a message

Notice: This domain name expired on 02/11/07 and is pending renewal or deletion.

Is this the end of RC?

Could be the end, although there had been discusion of a name change. It may come back under a different name. I spend far less time there than I used to as well, I have a rp going there currently or I would go even less. Most of the people I knew have come here or gone to RU, or both. The quality and quanity of the post's there has really slid just in the past few weeks. Still, I wouldn't want to see it go.

A name change would only work if the concept behind the board changed, if it sliding down hill then the Mods and the adminstrators need to look at why that was, if it returns with a different name but the board is exactly the same then it will only go downhill again.

Either way we would welcome its members here

Rumour has it that it's an internal political squabble between old and new ownership over rights to the name. It will more than likley be back, could take a while.
