From my point of view:

Americans: They have no shame.

British: Like to sing "i can't live without beer"

Irish: umm.. Hot Guys

French: They are somewhat known to be romantic and its not very true, probably the gays are

Spanish: Best drama telenovela

Dutch: best cakes seller

Chinese: afraid to lose anything

Japanese: THE BEST COUNTRY MANKIND EVER CREATED

Australia: their tax is like a discount percentage always high

Indians: smells very bad

Koreans: "holy shit u got a nose job at the age of 14?" its normal there

Italians: do everything for the family, never betray the family, have sex with the family.

Its all just jokes >.< doesn't mean to be rude haha

China - i live here so... stereotypes of propaganda-loving, work-obsessed, people with no manners are not that far from the mark.
Japan - the weirdest place in the world. a bunch of cartoon-obsessed, anti-social, child-raping hermits. would rather die than live here.
Italy - rude, elitist xenophobes.
Indians/Pakistani - the men are all creepy and shameless about being creepy. never adapt the culture of whatever country they inhabit. therefore, continue to be creepy.

Well expensive certainly meets the stereotype...Boring?, depends upon where you are. Nice people?, again, depends upon where you are. lol Bad Food?, Not a chance...I challenge everyone to prove that old adage about Britain and bad food, those days are certainly long gone...Britain is arguably the most culinary evolved country this century.

Canadian point of view:

There's good in everyone - let it shine out regardless of what country you're from. We're all natives to this planet.

I noticed that most of the stereotypical evaluations of the various countries presented here are negative - such and such are stupid etc... It seems hardly any wonder that peace is so hard to have in this world when the majority of people find fault in their neighbours instead of the good things.

Well funnily enough Freddie baby, this thread is wallowing within the rowdy room, which sort of automatically leans away from the realms of positivity. Plus, expecting positivity via message boards is a little bit folly don't you think, would you say this was a fairly realistic definition of the internet?....

I agree with you Lemmy baby, my point is that if you ask a person, any person, to stereotype different nationalities, most of what you are likely to hear will be put downs, regardless of whether you ask on the internet or in person. It is as if people feel that is how they are supposed to respond, but it doesn't have to be that way. Instead of saying that the British are known for having the worst teeth in the world, a person could say that they are stand up people who fought valiently when their turn came in world war 2. Instead of saying that East Indians and Pakistanis smell bad one could say they are noble people with long and deep traditions that they cherish. Instead of saying Scots are drunks, one could say that they have great accents are pretty funny when they are drunk because they have a wonderful sense of humour.

This thread asked for stereotypes of different nationalities but it didn't say they should all be negative ones.

As for a description of the internet, why not one of the earlier ones " A virtual world where people of all races, nationalities and creeds can come together and share knowledge and information about life"?

I agree with you two gentlemen about negative stereotypes and for years I've protested about jokes stereotyping the Irish as being thick and stupid. I'll never tell another Irish joke. Instead I'll tell you the one about the three Bulgarians called Paddy, Mick and Sean.

OK As promised, the joke about the three Bulgarians named Paddy, Mick and Sean. They emigrated to British Columbia because they wanted to become lumberjacks. After applying at the nearest lumber camp they were employed on the understanding that they would fell twenty trees a day each. On the first day they felled three trees each and the foreman wasn't too happy but gave them a second chance. On the second day Paddy, Mick and Sean flogged their guts out all day and managed to fell five trees each. The foreman told them that that was not enough and started to pay them off. Paddy, Mick and Sean complained that the saws that they were supplied with were no fucking good. The foreman lifted up one of the saws, primed it and pulling the cord started it up. the rat for instance was a muslim

i seriously think muslims should be exterminated and i would admire hitler if he had put muslims in the showers instead of jews personaly i would like another holocaust and this time against muslims and i would throw them my self in the ovens

When i see a person who has converted to islam i want to kill that person and i thing muslims converts should be put to death as well, i admire the nazis in russia who beheaded a muslim and posted it on the internet,
