As i said in another thread, because of the amount of support that i have been shown, i have decided that i will remain on this board (for now

).

This board has been a big part of my life ever since i joined it. Back then it was a great board full of fun, friends and just a great place to come and get away from the shit of real life. Though over time we have survived crashes, hackings and attacks from outside people we have always come back. The one thing that seems to be doing the most damage on here is just petty argueing that continues. This does a great deal more damage to RB then all the other above meantioned and its most likely the easiest of all to prevent.

It saddens me that a great fantasy board is reduced to a petty arguement and abusive/ blaming board. It takes just one thread to start a war on here that can continue for weeks and fuel other threads to start with more wars begining in them. Whereas a simple PM about the problems to the people directly involved would be more effective and help keep the rest of the board fun and enjoyable for all.

I know i have said all this before but looking back over previous posts and threads from when i was first here, to post and threads now, i am worried and saddened by thoughts that if RB continues then it may never recover and wont be considered a fun place anymore.

Naw, don't worry. The posts depend on the postees, and the obnoxious few will get tired of it eventually, or do something REALLY magnificent to get permanently banned for.

Ya really gotta work at it to get me wound up that far. I promise I'll try to be nicer. I'd offer to bend you over my knee, but I bet Wicked feel jealous.

Here's my two cents.

I would suggest finding a way to turn down the volume on the Rowdy Room. I really don't know how to do that, nor is it my place to say, but I do think there comes a point that the mods should say, enough is enough.

I readily admit that I played a major role in recent events, but at the same time, I don't think I've ever been on an ostensibly moderated forum where any member was allowed to spew as much verbal vomit as a couple of people have spewed at me and so, I responded in kind.

I'm not saying what I did was okay, rather, I'm saying that everyone involved, myself included, should have been told to shut the fuck up, before it ever got to the point that it did.

Well its good someone is honest eh.

I also agree with Clean on the fact we need to come down harder and earlier to deal with the issues that arise on the board in particular if members especially newer ones seem to be posting more to argue than they are actually posting about rape/bdsm etc etc

Why have members like that?
