That cover more than makes my point about how lame a fantasy that is not to mention the fact that romance novels are filled with quazi-rape scenarios Something that the women hating pigs at playboy don't do. Yet women feel that type of depiction of women is negative objectification. Instead they prefer to read about graphic, barely to non-consensual sex. Someone should mention to these pornographers that a positive sexual role model for women is one that's "ravished" 8 times in 400 pages full of old 19th Century thinking A double standard me thinks....

What, only eight?
You do make a point. I see a potential difference in that the playboy girls (etc) aren't as "involved" as say, those being ravished. Certainly the playboy girls are choosing to be there, and are thus involved to some level, but perhaps the critics see them more as brainwashed creatures that need help, or money. Perhaps money is the difference, in that the less-con is less objectified because there's nothing in return? She's possibly depicted with emotions, or at least reactions. And she's not really choosing it, therefore it's less "her fault" and she hasn't been brainwashed (as much, at least) into it. |

There is certainly that whole consent difference. The Playboy model chooses to get paid for removing her clothes. The women portrayed in this books are just forced into non consensual sex acts that become consensual... kinda like how some jocks see a dinner date I imagine (she'll love it once we're doing it mentality aka date-rape). I would think feminists would have a much bigger problem with the book than the magazine based on a womans right to make her own decisions about her body. As for the brainwashing aspect you're probably right that it's the position argued. But doesn't that position just say that women are weaker minded and unable to make decisions for themselves? PS. I'm a pro women kinda guy, just found that to be an interesting dichotomy.

I honestly thought more women would be of the same mindset. Just goes to show that many women really do want a more sensitive and caring man, even in their fantasy rapists

Hey i do want him to be caring but not during the role play my best real life roleplay was when he was sensitive and caring after. He hugged me and wanted to make sure i was ok but that was after he got out of the rapist character

Oh for sure outside of fantasy land everyone, I would hope anyway, wants a loving, nurturing, mutually respectful and empowering relationship. I just meant it was interesting (yet hardly surprising) that this mindset crosses into the rape fantasy. To want an uncaring douche-bag as a life partner is just broken thinking on either side's part

I think it would be hot if he paused out of bluffing me. Like, making me think he might be human and might be taking pity on my vulnerability. It's cruel to give your victim hope and then violently take it away. All part of the breaking down process.

And that's the thing about this "slight hesitation" ... there are many different ways we can explain the reason for it.

The toying is the best part of it for a sadist like me. For instance my hesitation would be far more cruel and deliberate, probably even mockingly so. The hope I would give might seem to the victim as possibly attainable, when all the while I know it's a manufactured hope for the express purpose of taking it away, going against my word etc. That's hugely different than someone who is a little more insecure and gets a pang of compassion. They both have their appeal.

sometimes the hesitation is not a hesitation at all, but a ploy to further torment the victim.
For instance, he held her hands over her head and watched her eyes as he pressed his cock against her opening, holding there for what seemed to be along time, but was only a moment in reality. He finally forced the head of his cock inside, stopping momentarily before pulling out. His fingers stroked her face as he went deeper with each trust. |

I think that would be very hot....a moment of...respect? caring?, but wants it so badly, he takes it anyway....and then there's no going back. He's taken the plunge, and so now there's no point in holding back. He's going to do whatever he wants.

I agree with Chitownhoney and Tosca.
The moment's hesitation brings a hope that maybe he has changed his mind and he won't go through with the act. I'll survive! I won't happen! What's the saying? Hope springs internal. Then, overcome with lust, looking down at me lying prone (on bed, floor, ground, whatever) his male instincts to procreate comes over him and he must have my body. The disappoint only increases the sorrow I will experience. |
