Okay, while this doesn't exactly fit Innocent's definition of chick flick, I found it to be an empowering movie for women.

So, laugh all you want, but I liked it. Great movie for when you need to guy bash with the girls!

I mean really, how many movies do you get to see a strong woman, beaten to hell, look into her attacker's eyes and say, "suck my dick!"

... i actually was gonna say Love Actually ... but also a nod to City of Angels and Ghost, 'cus the first time i saw both of them on DVD i was having a bad time of it and so i guess these films are kind of eternally linked with the emotional state i was in at the time, but maybe Shakespeare in Love
