The dreaded split-stream - Rape Board

It happened to me today at work. Fortunately I was the only one in the restroom at the time so no one was there to see my crime of peeing all over the floor. Yes I am talking about the dreaded "split-stream" when for some reason, that old reliable firehose goes wrong and instead of one fine flow you get 2 streams of urine that are at right odds to each other. Making it absolutely impossible to aim them in the urinal or toilet at the same time. All you can do is watch in despair as you flood the floor.

Is there a solution to this malady? Anyone have any tricks that work?
