I quiver as I dress for work that day, having woken up groggy and sore. I take a shower and throw up, brushing my teeth and eating on the way to work. I am in a dark suit today- a knee length semi loose skirt and a long sleeved, high collared fitted top with a jacket. All of this is black, and my shoes are just my normal heels.

I brush my hair in the parking lot, having seen no need to wear makeup I walk out of my car wondering why I put up with this. I move slowly, but get into the empty elevator and reach your floor. I look up and enter your office.
