I just saw the thing on the news about the flood. Y'all okay? I'm worried...they're saying it's like Katrina, just in Britain.

hi sheba im from east of england i can assure you my feet are very dry i live in the country side there are plenty o fields here to soak up the water other parts not soo lucky what a mess where is the summer

that only proves how the american media pushes the dramatics. we really aren't bothered.

I'm glad you're all okay!!! Yeah, our news media does love to be overdramatic. They're showing all the rescues of elderly people, and people trapped in their homes by the water, saying how 75% of the area is underwater and thousands are without clean water, etc.

It's an adventure. Luckily for me I live down south, up a hill. The floods will never reach me here.

Ditto. I'm up a steep hill, on the 2nd floor of the flats. It would have to be a LOT of water to affect me.

it is true !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! where i live we had a tidal wave and my entire house is AFLOAT RIGHT NOW !!!!!!!! I AM ON THE ROOF AAAARRRRRRRRRHHHHHHHHH

ditto guys i live on 1st floor flat the river half mile away well down the hill any rivers that flood here go on to grassy meadows/ flood plains im safe
