for sure a samurai, they have a far better weapon (katana swings faster than the broadsword and makes a cleaner, more precise cut* and are generally more mobile due to lighter armour. plus they train from a very young age, knights had to wait till they were 12-14 to begin training.

And one strike from their sword is enough for a light armored unit!

they certainly could not break armour in one shot, i rather doubt that. but give them 2 or 3 shots and yeah. you have to account that the avarage swing time on a broadsword or zweihander can range from 5 seconds to 10 seconds, depending on armour load. that is plenty of time to evade and counter, especially if there is already a flaw in the armour.

I have no problem with studying history and having an interest in warfare at all.
I just think there was no "better" way of war. People were killed anyway. Gunpowder changed warfare same as medicine did, biology, chemistry, physics, ... an endless list. But still ... the only constant is death.
To quote a German proverb I like:
"And Death put aside the scythe and climbed on the harvester - for it was war."
Sorry but people talking about "when wars were still good" just makes me wonder ...

I think the sword's man"champion" is better than the knight and the samurai,because he have more skills in fighting by sword and he train from young age,also his body is stronger than the knight and the samurai,and he could have an armour.
