How offensive is the "C" word? - Rape Board

I refer of course to the "Cunt" word.

I understand that in some parts of the world (such as the UK and Australia) people routinely utter the Cunt word often during arguments and conversations, or when talking about people they don't like.
But in the USA where I was born and spent most of my life and in Canada where I've lived for a long time, "cunt" is about the worst insult to throw at anyone. "Fuckers", "bastards" etc. are all acceptable names to use, but "cunt" seems to be as low as it gets. If you really really want to permanently cut ties with someone, call them "cunt" and the job is done.

What about you guys and girls, do you ever use the "cunt" word in conversation?

Apparently, you can't say cunt in Canada. At least not according to Kevin Bloody Wilson.

Any way, it is not the "cunt" word. It is cunt. Just as it is not the "n" word, it is nigger. If you're going to use a word, use it properly, don't fucking dress it up. Cunt.

I was very surprised on how strong this world is for some people.
On this same board, I was (publicly) role-playing with a girl. It was a good RP, we were on our final posts already. But I sent her some private messages, giving some indications of what I expected from her on our interaction. The title to the mails was, «Hello cunt».
She apparently felt so insulted she refused to continue with a nice RP. I mean... I am more than halfway through an interaction with a girl playing on how I am enslaving her to a life or rape and selling her to my clients, and she gets angry because I privately call her a cunt!? For Fuck's Sake!

Given that you insulted her outside of the context of a role play, she has every right to feel insulted. You should probably note too that insults out side of the Rowdy Room aren't allowed on this site.

I use the word freely with male friends. With female friends, I would never use the word unless I knew them very well and knew they'd take it in whatever spirit it was offered.
