ZOMG! nuuuuu! not twilight! D: - Rape Board

I don't know how many of y'all are familiar with the Twilight series, so here's a summery of the first book: chick moves into a small town, where she insistently becomes popular. Her one-dimensional classmates all want to be her friend/stalker, but she only had eyes for the human void known as Edward who is a vampire who OMG sparklez in da sun!!!!!

They get together but then they break up, 'cause he's dangerous or something--I started tuning out at this point. They get all emo, and then they get back together.

Then they have an EPIC baseball game and piss off the town's only resident awesome vampires. Bella gets the shit beat out of her, Edward saves the day, the awesome vampire dies, and Stephanie Meyer--the author of the series--uses my $15 to rape puppies/feed off the tears of orphans/help the terrorists win/whatever it is she does.

Anywho, CollegeHumor.com posted this video a while ago and I finally got the chance to watch it. It made me LOL so maybe you will too. Or not. Whatever, it's your life man.

fuck these god damned books and anyone who reads them. vampires dont glitter in sunlight, no one is as stupid as every single character in those books seems to be, the writing is, at best, hamhanded and repetitive, and most of all, theres no real plot to these books. seriously people, open your fucking eyes.

Try working in a bookstore and having to deal with some of the hardcore fans; I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.

Don't get me wrong, if anyone likes the book then that's cool, it's the people who obsess over it and think it's the greatest thing ever who bother me.

I've never heard of these books, like Lucy says they must be popular in the states. They sound crappy though, I mean I thought Anne Rice was the queen of vampire literature, not that i liked her books either, well I tried to read one once but only got like 50 pages in.

Read Mikhail Bulgakov instead, his books are awesome, no vampires though.
