Well, i can't stand gigli, but then again it's not a great movie. Maybe it isn't a good movie at all. Ok it hardly classifies as a movie. Not even as an attempt to make a movie. But i can't stand it anyway.

Just thought of a couple more:
Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction (most Tarantino movies infact - highly overrated)
Taxi Driver and The Deer Hunter. Some of DeNiro's most critically acclaimed works, I'd heard about how great they were for years but by the time I got to see them I was let down quite a bit.

Crash wasnt that good. I think that white people loved it best. I had this 40 somthin lady tell me that it was such a good movie because it opened people eyes. Who's? You've been living under a rock, lady?

Good Will Hunting fucking SUCKED! I wanted to hunt Matt Damon down so I can get my $3.99 back for the rental.

I havent even seen the end of Fight Club...too boring.

Ha! and they told I had to see Knocked Up. I didnt even watch it till the end. I hate when they take a comedy and put some romance in it. If I fucking wanted to watch a romance, I would have rented a seperate movie! It wasnt even funny! Like 40-year-old Virgin my ass!

And I was also very disappointed by There Will Be Blood. Just wasnt what I thought it would be.

that is exactly the reason why I havn't seen there will be blood yet. Everyone is touting it as the "next Citizen Kane" ( And don't even get me started on Citizen Kane) But everything I hear is REALLY good about it.. and yet .. in my mind I keep thinking.. " its a movie about an oil Tycoon right? ummmm Whoopdie shit?" I Am trying to put it off until i can have an open mind... after the hype goes away ( Which it more or less has) I won't be able to chat about it with any one.. but.. at least I will have seen it

Dont get me wrong, it wasnt a horrible movie, it was just too hyped up. And it was actually kinda disturbing. And for me to say its disturbing is bad. I am the queen of loving the disturbing movies. It just wasnt all that I thought it was. it was mediocre at best.

That was quite a let down. The problem was... I got very excited about seeing it when it came out. But the buzz was so great, the praise was so high, I kind of knew the build up would end up killing it for me. So I hesitated, and didn't go see it when I should have.

I watched it a couple of years ago.

Huge disappointment.

Don't touch Tarantino! I've never seen a Tarantino movie I didn't enjoy to a certain degree. Some more, some less. But he is always watchable albeit in a sick kind of way...

I love horror movies, but I didn't like The Shining, either. However, since every critic I've ever heard says it's a great movie, then I'll respecfully submit to their more expert opinion and say...

"but it's still a piece of shit!!!!"

Yeah, I didn't like Gladiator or The Shining either but Braveheart was really good, you just gotta get past the beginning, like The Godfather with the whole wedding scene. My brother still hasn't seen it because of that (he also exited during the beginning of Jurassic Park but a few years later he watched and loved the movie)

I just find him boring like he thinks that a bit of blood will make it all better. I'm not repulsed by blood at all but it has to be justified, not just there for the sake of it (Mortal Kombat style, lol)

Anyway, I know he has an audience and that's fine but I'm just not in it, that's all.

(just my opinion)
I love The Shining! There are so many parts that are classics.
1.The little kid riding his big wheal (why don't they make big wheals for adults?I would buy one in a second.)down the halls of the hotel and then he comes upon the twin girl ghosts.
2.Jack telling his wife "Wendy? Darling? Light, of my life. I'm not gonna hurt ya. You didn't let me finish my sentence. I said, I'm not gonna hurt ya. I'm just going to bash your brains in.
[Wendy gasps]
Gonna bash 'em right the fuck in! ha ha ha "
3.Danny(the little boy)walking backwards in the snow to confuse his father.

and so many more...

Don't get me started on Tarantino.Kill Bill wasn't the best but his other movies are Great, but then again ,just my opinion.

I agree with some of the movies already mentioned - especially Blair Witch (I could not stand that one girl's constant bitching), Mission Impossible (very bad rip off of the original tv show), and the Deer Hunter (tried to be way too artsy fartsy).

In that same line the movie I was very disappointed in was The Thin Red Line with Sean Penn - Artsy crap - it worked once with Saving Private Ryan but not with this one - even the voice over stuff (trying to be like Platoon - sucked).

I haven't seen The God Father. I've seen bits and pieces while others watched it, but not my kind of movie.
