If you are determined to try out something like this you should go with sleeping pills given to you by a real doctor while stricly following the dose the doctor considers to be appropriate. I do not support your efforts in trying something like this but for your own safety I see it fit to give at least some directions so you won't be doing something stupid on your own.

Don't screw around with stuff like chloroform since an overdose can even be fatal and these kind of untested substances can increase the chance of getting cancer, miscarriages or liver damage for example.
