I think it's good job from the Us to sell their cultures. It started ages ago. I remember when I was a kid I heard that cartoon song 'Tom Sawyyeerrrrrrrr ....it's the UsaAAAAA the freedom countryyyy'.
The britts are doing a pretty good job selling episodes of the royal family as well. William and Kate marriage was all over the news for a month here.
It's a good way to get attention on one's country, and a easy way to learn a bit of history
