Default Parental idiocy

A little girl in western Canada was grabbed by a sea lion and pulled off the pier into the harbor. Tourists were feeding the animal even thought prominently posted signs prohibited that. Then her moronic parents let the child sit on the edge of the pier with her dress hanging over the side, exposing her to a 700 lb wild animal with razor sharp teeth. Luckily the child was pulled out of the water unharmed.

Happily there is no outcry to punish the animal. Too often parents ignore warnings, expose their children to danger, and then the tiger, or bear, or whatever is put to death because of a human parents gross negligence.
