Another reason, there are a number of companies that have factories in the UK as gateways into the EU, Nissan as a major example, that Chinese company that has bought out MG, the same with Jag and Land Rover now, all it would take is some kind of threatened trade sanctions from the EU against us and they would be off quicker than you could say UKIP. The EU, like it or not, is our only real chance, and the only way we can ever get anywhere with it is to grow up, except that the past is just that, the past, and plunge in and make some sensible demands.
