I have to admit that I don't really understand how it all fits together over there, nor why it would be desirable for any solvent country.
Why in the world would England allow any outside entity to dictate units of measurement or the nature of its currency? Why would a group of countries keep bailing out the Greeks and others who refuse to tighten their own belts?
