The latest from the Brexit debacle is that Ulster would have to stay in the single market and be subject to EU law in order to avoid a hard border in Ireland. Which has led to claims by Welsh and Scottish nationalists, and even some people in London that they could also remain in the single market.
So we have a two tier legal framework in the United Kingdom? The DUP have quite rightly stated they will block any deal that includes Northern Ireland staying subject to EU law.
The EU is not only attempting to impose its laws on the United Kingdom after we leave, it is threatening the very cohesion of the nation.
