Its fairly expensive to release a film on dvd. Perhaps there might be a Portuguese release in time but I don't see it hitting the shelves globally. Its adapted from a book that was also hugely successful to its home grown audience but that hasn't prompted it to be published in the English language yet. Hopefully it turns up on Netflix in the future, they have a very admirable foreign language section.
