The article on the BBC NI web page has been updated. MPs are looking at various ways to push through abortion reform, and same sex marriage legislation in the province. No doubt this would anger the DUP, but the latter would remove a barrier to Sinn Fein sitting in Stormont. With local councils in the province making their own language provisions, there woukd really be no reason for Sinn Fein to hold out any longer.
