The Commonwealth Youth Games are the latest thing to fall victim to a lack of government in Northern Ireland. As civil servants continue to run the country, they have decided the games, a sort of youth equivalent of the Olympics, that would see athletes from all over the Commonwealth coming to Belfast, do not "give value for money".
Still, I suppose Sinn Fein wouldn't care, as it would be a practice run for what life in Northern Ireland would be like if it were absorbed in to a vassal state of a future European Federation, run from Brussels by unelected commissioners.
