That is the most absurd thing you've ever said. The Brits, Russians, Czechs, Poles and to a lesser degree even the surrender monkeys did their part in the European theater. It was a "WORLD" war. What I have said and will always believe is that without the United States' involvement, Britain would have lost their war and the Germans would have occupied Britain. I have also stated that without Texas, there wouldn't have been enough oil to conquer Italy, much less Germany. Texas oil at a fixed $5.00 per barrel fed the allied war machine.

The British are a brave and hardy lot. I have never considered or believed any other possibility. However, the idiot Montgomery was more responsible for the many allied deaths in his infamous Market Garden disaster than the Germans. The son of bitch should have been stripped of his rank and put out to pasture in everlasting disgrace.

But, while I'm on the subject, exactly where was the glorious British Navy in the Pacific during WWII. They were hunting German subs in the Atlantic trying to keep their lifeline to US supplies alive, or in their home ports very much like the glorious Russian navy.
