It's really no different than the argument that "guns kill people." They don't. I have a closet full of them and they've never killed anyone. Maybe I have well trained guns, I don't know. The analogy is exactly the same though. If someone is inclined to rape for real, I can't imagine that a story would get them more or less excited. I would have to imagine that to someone with that mindset, a story isn't going to do much for them, no matter how well written.
