it may start as an individual's fetish, but it is something that can only be lived. There are no part-time slaves or masters.
While I disagree that one is born as such and must be "found", I agree that some strong tendancies exist in either direction, often both.
A wolf is either the leader, or a subject of that leader. He will bow and scrape in submission, but when he is the strongest will quickly change from a submissive animal to a dominant one, much the same as some fish are able to change gender when circumstances are right.
