There seems to be a new post-Brexit movement developing to remove "rubbish careerist MPs", funded in part by former UKIP donor Aaron Banks. The idea is that crowd funding and social media is used to target MPs that support the European Union in areas that voted leave. I suspect that Carswell will be one of the MPs targeted. I also expect Nigel Farage will join this movement if UKIP are unable to keep itself relevant and radical.
