Yes, there is a limitation of reporting of "the facts" before a case is tried in a British court. However, the major theme in the lead up to this particular case was that the police and social services were afraid to investigate for fear of being branded "racist". Which is odd considering they were, or at least should have been, investigating the targeting of non-muslim females for sexual exploitation, by Pakistani muslim males.
