Stars burst across Azia's vision as the blackjack crashed against the back of her head. She didn't fade fully into unconsciousness, but her knees gave out, her little body crumpling to the ground. A soft groan escaped her lips as she tried to shake off the cobwebs and clear her vision. She could barely make out some words that seemed to be coming from above her.
"...Femme Feline?"
"...not so tough."
"...fucked a superheroes..."
Why were the voices above her? Was she on the ground? She groaned again weakly rolling onto her side. She could make out a few shapes gathering around her as started to rise to her feet.
