In writing I have stated that being a conservative does not automatically make one rightwing and vice versa! There were conservative communists who qualified as left wing while being conservative. However, I suppose that sort of complex differentiation isn't taught by Rush Limbaugh! And I won't bother to try to explain how an apolitical anarchist is not a political extremist because we neither engage in politics nor try to make others live by our philosophy.
