'Pokémon Go' argument lands 1 man in hospital, another in jail:

An argument between two men, apparently sparked by one of them playing "Pokémon Go" on his phone, landed one man in jail and the other in a hospital, the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office said today.
Ryan Jeffrey Steiner, 33, of St. Clair Shores was charged with aggravated assault after the incident at about 10:40 p.m. Wednesday. The victim, a 53-year-old Harrison Township man, was in the intensive care unit at a local hospital, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release.
Steiner was arraigned today in 41B District Court in Clinton Township, where he was given a $5,000 bond on the one-year misdemeanor offense. His next court date is Aug. 24, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Steiner was walking through Mt. Clemens, which has numerous "Pokémon Go" stops, with his girlfriend and another woman. As they neared Market Street on Main Street, they encountered the Harrison Township man.
An argument started between the two men, developed into threats and culminated with Steiner hitting the victim in the face, causing him to fall to the ground. The suspect and women left and entered a nearby bar, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Witnesses called authorities. Deputies found the victim lying on the sidewalk, bleeding from a cut on the back of his head. He was treated at the scene and taken to McLaren Macomb Hospital in Mt. Clemens, where he remains in ICU, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Witnesses helped deputies identify the suspect. Deputies arrested Steiner at an address on Wagner Street in Warren.
