Peel Regional Police have arrested four men and are looking for two others in connection with the pimping of a 16-year-old girl.
"Police say back in January, the teenaged girl was lured into the sex trade by five men, who forced her to work as an escort at various locations in and around Peel Region over a six-week period.
Police ultimately identified, arrested and charged four suspects in connection with that case. They were asking for the public’s help in identifying a fifth suspect.
Last month, the same 16-year-old was lured to a hotel in York Region where she was confronted by three of the suspects previously charged along with a fourth man. They forced her into a car and took her to 22 Division, where she was told to recant her statement with regards to the January incident. Instead, she advised the police of the situation and three of the four suspects were arrested."
