The Daily Mirror today are reporting that the amount of paramilitary style punishment shootings doubled in 2017 to 28. At the highest level for 4 years, 25 were attributed to nationalist groups, 3 to loyalists.
9 shootings have been recorded in the last 3 months, which would set the 2018 total even high if the trend continued.
