Three months of pointless posting! Happily there was a server crash a couple of weeks before the lights were due to go out, and he just let it go. Probably would have been better to have said nothing.

I can see that. I don't think RD would have had that problem. There would have been crying and gnashing of teeth for sure, but at least we could have planned our exit and maybe given RB some prep time instead of the mods here waking up one morning, seeing 50 new members and saying "WTF?!?!". It didn't even have to be two weeks...three days or something. Just a "thanks for coming, have a nice life". Anything.
