Latest reports are that his wife, wanted in South Africa for a serious assault, has fled Zimbabwe, whilst Mugabe himself has been detained by the army amidst reports of explosions and gunfire in Harare.

Robert Mugabe seized control of the state formerly known as Rhodesia, after philanthropist and founder Cecil Rhodes, when he over threw the government led by Ian Smith in the late 1970s.

He is no good for Zimbabwe. Typical African dictator, living in luxury while the masses go hungry.

He has been replaced by the vice president with a name too long and boring to repeat, who is as responsible for mass murders as Big Bob himself is. So no change there.

So little to no change as yet, no announcement of fully accountable democratic elections. The racist, communist appropriation of capital will probably continue, though I'm not certain that the nation could be plunged deeper in to economic ruin unless we decided to nuke it.

Some of the land stolen from farmers by the racist Mugabe is beginning to be handed back to its rightful owners. Hopefully Zimbabwe can begin to attract proper farmers back and help restore the regions economy.
