As mass hysteria over the amount of hood rats offing each other with knives and guns on the streets of London grows, a 78 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder this week after stabbing a burglar to death.

The man was woken in the night and discovered two men in his home, one armed with a screwdriver. A struggle ensued, and one of the wankers was stabbed and later died.

Since Theresa May as Home Secretary passed a law restricting the use of random street searches, knife crime has been steadily climbing in the UK. The police can't do their fucking job properly, but seem to see fit to persecute an elderly man for defending his home and his wife who has dementia.

Does any one else think that this is the principle of law and order turned on its fucking head? British people should be able to arm themselves, because it is fucking obvious that the police and government can't protect us from terrorists and criminals.

Our laws are much different in that regard. In almost all cases with an intruder in your home, deadly force is usually justified.

Of course we have our own problems, the old provo favorite, the armalite is now the weapon of choice for nut job mass shooters.

The answer is somewhere in between, your laws they prevent innocent people from defending themselves and ours letting mental cases purchasing assault rifles.

After spending two nights in the cells, and then being released on bail pending further inquiries, the Met Police have announced that the home owner will face no further action. He should never have been arrested to begin with.

In a further twist, the householder and his wife have been placed in protective custody, whilst the family of the dead burglar keep leaving floral tributes in the dozens on a fence by the house. This, only to have neightbours tear them down.

Now police are threatening to arrest any one who tries to remove any more bunches of flowers.

This tradition of leaving flowers at the site a fatalities in tribute to the dead seemed to start after that vacuous cunt Diana Spencer died in a car crash in Frogland. I call them memorials to the stupid. Driven too fast in the rain and crashed? Leaved flowers. Ran out in traffic? Leave flowers. Drug dealer stabbed by a rival? Leave flowers. Rode you bicycle through a red light and got hit by a car? Leave flowers. Jumped off a bridge? Leave flowers.

The burglar got what was coming to him, if his family want to pay tribute to him, they should hold a wake dome where, not litter the fucking street!

At least common sense prevailed (no doubt because of the adverse Press coverage) and the old guy won't have to face the trauma of a trial. Good for him too, shame he didn't get the second burglar as well.

The man is in protective custody, not in his own home. He may as well be in prison. His wife has Alzheimers disease, his neighbours report feeling intimidated by the presence of the dead burglars family and their intrusive "memorial", which the police have instructed them to leave alone. The dead burglars family have multiple convictions for a variety of crimes ranging from theft and burglary to defrauding pensioners.

Where exactly the fuck has common sense prevailed? The police should be protecting house holders, not a family of thieves. There are bleeding hearted wankers on the radio feeling sorry for the burglars family and spouting utter shit about how he was a family man, a father, blah-fucking-blah. Yeah, like fucking Fagin!

Did a bit of research, and it appears just as have you have posted. How did your laws get so impossibly turned about? Perhaps if the perp was Irish, it might by ave been different?

As it happens, the dead burglars family are Irish travellers, which may or may not go some way to explaining why the police are being so accommodating.

What ever the past record in Ireland, we now live in a country where police, local authorities and health care agencies are afraid to investigate Pakistani paedophile rings for fear of being branded racist, just to give you an idea of how stupid it is here.

Travellers, like Roaders in the USA? We don't have much time for them, generally scammers and robbers (robbing Roaders). They are not like normal Irish people, who are honest and work hard.

I can remember when they were called tinkers , I suppose that wasn't very pc. Not very well regarded in Ireland. The locals tend to lock everything up that could be lifted when there's a group in the vicinity.

There are recognized now as ethnically separate from the Irish. Still a debate over their actual origins.

I shouldn't worry too much about using the word "tinker". A senior judge here recently decided that the phrase ethnic minority was offensive and derogatory, and instructed others in the legal profession that from now on ethnic minority should become minority ethnic.

For all the good not causing offense seems to do us, may as well stick to nigger, Paki, pikey and Paddy!

Funeral of the stabbed burglar took place yesterday. Amid scenes of violence as “mourners” attacked journalists, local residents, threw stones - some using slingshots, arrests were made as neighbours of the householder who stabbed the burglar with his own knife after discovering him and an accomplice in his kitchen as his ill wife slept upstairs, barricaded off their street to prevent the funeral procession passing by the home a man has been for ed to leave because police are powerless to protect him.
