I agree with Doggy and ShyAngel. The Mods don't have the most popular job in the universe but in my experience they run the board with equal amounts of tolerance, humour, wisdom and firmness. We're never going to agree with everything they decide but then again it's not a perfect world. They do a difficult job on our behalf and I don't think we have much cause for complaint. A place rarely visited
I spend most of my my time in the pic and vid section and rarely check this section. It seems so idle. The Darkone pointed me to this thread after a rather negative exchange regarding my recent and even more recently removed "thank you" in the pic and vid section.
Doggy has a great idea here. I wish it could be expanded into a sticky in the pic and video section. I have reported spam and malware posts in the pic and vid section. The moderators seem to respond like guardian angels and sometimes within mere minutes of the report. I am amazed by their work and diligence. Thank you ladies and gentleman. HRH |

It seems that an apology is in order. You are most correct. I knew "in my heart" from the beginning that my original "thank you" post to the moderators was not in order and I felt badly about it from the beginning. Please note that I do not respond to thank yous in my thread, because I don't want to elevate my posts. I simply give +rep points.
And, by the way, I do post for praise, Why the hell does anyone else post? A few years ago, I broke my leg in a hunting accident. I was disabled for several weeks. An unknown neighbor began to mow my yard while I was away at work and even washed my car on one Sunday morning. I'm in Texas, so that isn't all that unusual but it bothers me to this day. I never got to say "Thank you." That still bothers me. You really pissed me off! I considered you to be an ungrateful ass. I reviewed your posts in the rowdy section with the intention of some sort of a verbal challenge. The problem was that I agreed with most of your comments. Damn, what a bummer. Now, you give me a +rep! Your methodology is to be crass and harsh. That works for you and I respect that. However, in Texas, you can get shot for that approach. In closing, I apologize for my response. You were correct and I was wrong. But, wouldn't have been easier to provide the appreciation link at the very start. By the way, I haven't shed a tear since the Nam. With respect and gratitude, you asshole! (just sort of kidding) HRH |
I've done the modding thing on other boards. Unless you've done it before it sometimes doesn't look like much to it, but there really is.

Sani's great and now Beckka is involved, she's smart and seems cool. The others seem to have retreated to their ivory tower or something, but I do appreciate all the work they do. Must be an incredible pain in the ass at times.

First off also a thanks to all the Mods here used to be one myself and I know what is seen by us on the boards is only a small fraction of the work you do so thanks for that.
Like HRH I spend most of my time on the movie board and like HRH and others try to point out or help what little I can when I see something amiss. Keep up the good work. Am tempted to comment on a post by HRH and also snarkopo but I think I just say thanks to you both for a chuckle instead discretion at times is a better part of valor LOL sparks |
