Why is rape, malice and degradation so thrilling?
 

I have asked this question for most of my life feeling alienated for having to always think of malice and anything sick just to get off. Why? Is it the "Natural Man" carnal thinking? Why does it always have to be rape and malice for me to bust a nut robbing me of humility? I know many of you asked a similar question. I struggled with this 'thrill' of many sorts my whole life.

Any answers or comments would be greatly appreciated?

I suppose this "dark side" applies to anything in general like violence, robbing, or bad music bans like Tool, NIN etc. I suppose there's nothing thrilling about humility and good which gives us that "high".

I would think that, since we all understand this side of us exists, we have a small advantage over our fellow humans...

Maybe the 'thrill' comes from exploring that which society generally forbids us...yes, mores and rules and laws need to be in place for very valid reasons, but legislation cannot remove the existence of our thoughts, it can only attempt to control them by promising consequences if those thoughts are acted upon.

So apart from a possible 'thrill' of playing with the 'forbidden',..maybe it also has something to do with letting that purely instinctual side of us run free in some manner...in a safe and controllable way....just feeling that adrenaline turn loose in our systems as we explore a no-holds-barred aspect of a nature all of us have to varying degrees...

I know it all sounds pretty philosophical at times, but I have thought about it a lot...anyway, my 2 cents for the day..

I think this takes a lot of philosophy and perspective to answer this question.

One philosophy has it that ever since Eve ate that fruit Man has fallen into mortality where our spirit and body constantly wrestles with each other over good and evil like the devil and the angel on either side of our shoulder, hence the guilt. The term "Natural Man" is carnal in nature and as mortals we only think of our desires according to the flesh which I suppose is the dark side in us all. Listen to your cock and not your conscience. I suppose we all have our unique 'mortal' challenges if that makes any sense. I don't think I'll find the answer :/

I was chatting about this with my ex a while ago and his take on it was this:.

Men are being emasculated, to show power or anger to a woman is viewed as wrong by society now, so to have fantasies of raping a woman would make you a social pariah and so in turn men are often plagued by guilt by having such thoughts. The flip side of course is that we as women are also viewed as lepers for fantasising about the same thing.

Personally I like a man to be a man, to show me he is the one in control, he makes the decisions and that's the end of it. I don't want a so called 'New' man, I want one whose going to tell me we're having sex and that's the end of it, no discussion it's happening.

Really? Men are choosing to be emasculated. Allowing it. They're so desperate for cunt that they will agree to anything to get it. In a way it's still rape. I'll lie your fucking knickers off because I'm a ruthless twat with a hard on.

Which makes all this legislation pointless. Men are still going to have their way.

Personally I'd sooner spend the rest of my life wanking than to have to go through all that bollocks! As far as I'm concerned, women may well be capable of filling traditional male roles. They may well be as intelligent as us, even if they're either wired or brainwashed differently. One simple, unalterable, undeniable fact is that women are physically weaker than men. Whatever societal constraints you put on that, I will never recognise.

Women will always be rape meat, property, to me. I will never think differently. The only thing that stops me from taking any woman at will is self-preservation. It doesn't mean I hate women. It just means I recognise that humans have developed etiquette that is greater than my ability to over come.

Just about everyone would be thrilled by rape I think. You can compare this with other thrillers such as violent movies and video games or those "Murder Mystery" games your grandmother played.
