Marine Morning Rapist (rough_you_up and clara)
 

News Reporter - "....another woman last night was recovered from what looks like the work of the Marine Morning Rapist. The victim was 20 years old, jogging in Marine Park yesterday morning when she says a man approached her at some point, injected her with what was most likely a sedative. The man then kidnapped, raped her, and mostly likely let her go at around midnight on that same day. Police once again have no suspects and found no DNA on the victim. Doctors however, have found trace amounts of rufilin in her system - also known as 'roofies' the date rape drug. Her and the 2 other victims themselves can't remember much because of the drugs. While the police are doing everything they can to catch this criminal, they ask anyone who notices anything suspicious relating to the morning rapist to dial 911 immediately."

Eva watches this news event for the 2nd time and thinks to herself maybe she should run somewhere else today. But the next nearest park is too far. She probably should've bought that treadmill when it was on sale. Maybe a short jog today but through the streets where there's the most traffic. She'll get her exercise one way or another and very early in the morning is the best time to do it.

It's 6:30 AM, Eva has on her usual white sports bra, blue shorts, and running sneakers all set to go. The park looks beautiful from the outside. The early sunlight, the mild breezes, the faint sounds of cars rolling by makes exercising there a very enjoyable experience. No wonder people come here. How could a place like this be dangerous for Eva?
