Just got a message from the Forum Administrator
 

that my computer had a virus on it and I need to click on a link to clean out the virus. Will these assholes stop at nothing to fuck people over? If you got that same message I hope you were smart and deleted it and didn't click on the link to clean your harddrive or you will get a clean hard drive cause it will come on the new computer you have to buy. Since that link you click on will hose your computer.

Cant you monitor the e-mails that get generated here or don't you care?

Thanks for the headsup on this scam. I hope you sent the admin/mods the proper info so they can look into it.

I would ask one question.... was the last line really necessary. The Mods and Forum Admin work very hard to try and provide us with a safe, enjoyable place to chat, have fun and explore our fantasy life.

The "dont you care" crack was completely uncalled for.

It's extremely easy to fake the from address in an email. In fact, it takes about 3 seconds. Chances are it wasn't sent from the rapeboard servers before you get all pissy.

i don't think this place had anything to do with it . it's the stupid fucks who try to get info from you so they can bend you over . as shown here ...

I got a similar message from an administrator from another website a while back that I immediately knew was bogus and dangerous. Seems to be the forces of evil on the internet have figured out how to get into automated e-mail systems for websites. I don't know how they do it but I do know that no one should ever click a link in an e-mail telling them that it'll do anything to theie computer! The staff of RB does what it can to help keep you safe, however the safety of your computer is your own responsibility.

Here here, I second the motion.

these online quacks are of course underhanded in everything they do. From destructive damages to our property, to hacking our databases for theft of information or further spams. When it comes to public websites, there is no way to protect that site 100%, This board is no exception. It's going to be targeted, and so are it's members in turn. Though this is a small board ,you can bet there have likely been several attempts to hack this forums accounts for criminal use.

If you are wondering how bad it can get, justl ook at the New York Police Data base, I've heard that it recieves some 3,000 hacking attempts per day from all over the world. These guys are persistant.
