Question for our uk members, whose your team? I'm Celtic. Curious who everyone else favors.

Club football has never interested me. I was born in a town that had no league club, most of my peers supported London teams.

The Old Firm is a bit like a two party political system, with one holding dominance over the other for a few years then the tables turn. Over all Rangers are the more successful with more SPL titles, a slight edge in wins over Celtic. Celtic are the only Scottish team to have won the European Champions League, although it was called the European Cup back then. They have also won the Scottish FA Cup more.

Celtic have been more successful in the last decade, in part due to Rangers being relegated four divisions as punishment for financial irregularities. This pretty much gifted Celtic the last four league titles. It is only a matter of time before things swing back to Rangers though.

Tom, you may find yourself splitting your allegiance in the future. In 1949, West Belfast team Belfast Celtic disbanded after the team was attacked during a sectarian riot. Now West Belfasts Sport and Leisure want to change their team name to Belfast Celtic.

Yeah, it was nearly Celtic 96, after a load of their fans arrived late and caused a crush trying to force their way in. Much like their friends Liverpool FC at the Hillsborough ground in the 80s.

Fell yesterday 2 to 1, they will be fine. Still like them to keep on top of that other club from Glasgow.

That's a turn-around then, they were trailing Rangers by four places last week.

For the first time since the tax scandal that saw Rangers, the most successful Scottish football club of all time, demoted to the very bottom of four leagues, they have pulled up within two points of their rivals Celtic. The next big firm derby could be the one that decides this years Scottish premiership.

i’ve always thought that Football could be spiced up a bit if there was some jeapordy for the wives and girlfriends. Let’s face it, these WAGs of famous sports players are mostly in it for the money until they can rack up enough ‘time in service’ for a bug fat divorce payout once their husband is past their prime playing years.

I propose the following: the WAGs of the losing side should do 90 minutes in a rape pit, the first half with the winning team and the second half with 100 of the winning team’s supporters (selected by lottery).

I see this as giving the gold diigging whores something to do to promote attendance at the games rather than just leeching off their husbands.

Funniest thing was Scotlands first minister, Nicola Sturgeon, complaining about Scotland getting knocked out of the group stage of the tournament. Her words "we were robbed".

No, you stupid cunt, a refereeing decision went against you. Sturgeon is getting a bit long nowadays....

Well, after four years of having it their own way, then both teams in the Old Firm getting off to a shaky start last season, things appear to be back to normal in Glasgow. After two wins each from two games, Celtic are ahead of Rangers on goal difference. Looks like Scotland may have an actual competition for the first time in a while.

Rangers trail Celtic by two points, but with a game in hand. Equal on goal difference, win lose or draw could quite literally decide it for Rangers.

Celtic and the Rangers both won yesterday, Celtics lead at 5 points.

Rangers now trail Celtic by 7 points, with a game in hand. They must have dropped both bollocks some where.
