To kill a man?
First of all, I would like to point out that I am in no way looking for advice for committing a criminal act. If I ever do that, I will keep my own counsel.
So, when this whole bucket list thing kicked off the century before last, I realised that I had only one thing on it. That is, before I die, I'd like to know how it feels to kill a man. I tried once, but was prevented. To the regret of many, because a few hours later a close friend lay dead in part because if that man had died, my friend would not have. This presents a dilemna though. Under what circumstances does a man deserve to die? For dishonouring another? For a horrendous crime? To remove a threat to ones person or property? If it were not him, it would be me? Clearly, in an ideal world, the answer should be under no circumstance at all. We're not that naive though, are we? So I suppose what I am asking is, if you were ever to do what I hope one day to do, what would be your justification? |
I suggest getting a job at a prison, having the grandest fun at botching up the execution of a death row inmate with the poorest of prescribed "lethal" chemicals. You'll not only have the pleasure of checking off that item on your bucket list, but you'll get more than your 15 minutes of fame!

I think killing someone is justified to protect the lives of others, especially the innocent.
|
Ah, but what would you do?

Although I don't have the generalized bloodlust that FR has, I also don't feel that doing so would condemn my soul to immortal damnation if I gave fate a a little help.
I believe that there are beings, genetically human but missing a critical piece, who are evil. They feel nothing, have no empathy, and there is no hope for their rehabilitation or redemption. They rape, kill, victimize without blinking an eye. These are the sociopaths. Killing them should be considered a public service, not a crime. |
Sierra, it's not really bloodlust. Just curiosity to know how it feels to do it.

I have a list you could pick from if you like....
I think you know me well enough to know that I could kill someone who deserved it and sit down to a hearty meal right afterward. My biggest problem is that I'd fancy myself in the "that one is better off dead so I'll help" role. I'm afraid it might be a slippery slope and I would have found myself a new hobby... |

Having killed in combat you don't feel anything at that moment. Its your training that kicks in ,kill or be killed.
Now after its over and you have time to think about what has happened.................well. How you feel/handle it after is as different as the people who have done the killing. |
Are we discussing circumstance or method?
Because baseball bat. All the way. |
Circumstance: mmm... I've threatened bodily harm as retaliation to people harming animals.
People are sick. |
Circumstances for me--I have a few friends that I'd probably murder someone for. And my brother and mother.
Method--Well, it'd probably be in the heat of the moment so bare hands or gun. |
Persians they deserved to die and 20 to 25 thousand did before I got shot bummer really
|
Were those Afghani, or Iranian Persians? Persians want to be our friends now so we can join hands and put a stop to the ISIS CRISIS.
Was watching a documentary today about Nepalese tribes who have sky burials, they take their dead up in to the mountains and leave them for the vultures, because the ground is too hard to dig a grave. Then I remembered the Pharsees in Iran who do something similar, hanging the bodies of the dead in towers for the vultures to eat. I wondered if they share a common ancestry. |
After I was raped by that woman, my life changed completely. I saw people for what they really were.... filth.
Driving down the street, you see someone speeding, and you think "What a wanker".... now, I drive down the street and I don't see someone speeding, I see someone willing to put other people's lives at risk. And that, makes them to deserve to lose theirs. To take a life to save a life is justified. Their blood is tainted, they are filth of which should be cleansed. |
The only thing that justifies not killing them is that there's no suffering for them. Taking their life only makes their families suffer. They should be forced into jail for life (and I mean until they die) so they suffer and not their families.

Oh yeah, Mugga comments and no one replies....
