I was wondering what sort of internet speeds people got in what sort of places.

Also what upload speed you use to upload your videos.

I will start by saying mine is 176kb/s and 35kb/s up.

i have a slow upload but i hope to get my collection uploaded no matter what :skull-bee

Wow, no one interested in broadband speeds on this board, I don`t beleive it.

well in the US boarder the average speeds are around 5-7mbs which isn't that bad.

20/2 MBIT ADSL2+ which gives me 2150 KB/s down and 240 KB/S up, which is pretty good for a "non-fiber" line.

i get 10mbit down 768 up

DL : 3,12 mB/sec (mesured with dumeter)

An answer and another question...
 

I have DSL at home and at my office.

At home and at the office, my usual download speed is around 320 KB/sec.
At home and at the office, my usual upload speed is around 55 KB/sec.

However, at the office, Rapidshare downloads at less than 50 KB/sec while everthing else (Mediafire, Megaerotic, etc.) is still around 320 KB/sec.

Is there something about Rapidshare that I need to know?

Properly bad routing from RP to the ISP your work uses.

I got a 1gigabit @ work and are often getting speeds around 200 KB/s from RP, while at home it pretty much all the time is above 1000 KB/s

mine ranges from 10 to 300 i have no idea why
