So, what was that episode about, what happened after the two fell and the gun went off?

Perhaps you're thinking of a different episode, backup?

In this one, Alison gets a flashback when she's sitting in the car with the woman and they're pulled over by a different cop (she's understandably nervous.)

The patrolman is killed when the gun goes off at the end of the flashback. The rape storyline is not the main focus of the episode, unfortunately.
